We currently have an opening for a Bookkeeper role, which requires the ideal candidate to have a minimum of 1+ years experience with Xero software. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Australian based client's books on Xero while ensuring clear and concise financial reports. Some of the main responsibilities include:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and perform the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the right day book (supplier's ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger), track debits, and maintain and monitor financial records
  • Complete Bank reconciliation statements and track cash flow statements
  • Complete Business Activity Statements (BAS) forms as required
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal candidate must possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • A minimum of 1+ years experience in related fields using Xero (any country but Australian experience will be preferable)
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and Xero software
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
Required Skills
Required skills for this role include:
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
  • Experience calculating, posting, and managing accounting figures and financial records
  • Hands-on experience with Excel spreadsheets and Xero software
