Position Overview: As an Accounting Support Specialist at Penny Homes, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to their accounting team and function. With a focus on efficiency, attention to detail, and strong numerical skills, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes. Key Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable:

Process staged payment invoices, variation invoices, and final settlement statements to customers on a weekly basis.
Manage monthly payment claims to commercial customers and rebate invoices to suppliers.
Conduct ad hoc invoicing as needed and ensure timely receipting of payments.
Regularly review and follow up on outstanding invoices, sending customer statements monthly.

Banking Support:

Daily processing of banking transactions and visa transactions.

Accounts Payable Support:

Assist in processing incoming invoices, matching them to purchase orders, and performing data entry coding.
Verify invoices against price books and provide transactional processing support.

Customer Service Support:

Provide backup assistance during lunch breaks and as required, including answering telephone calls and handling reception inquiries.
Perform daily office administration and housekeeping tasks to maintain office efficiency.

General Accounting Support:

Handle daily processing of banking and visa transactions.
Create new jobs in accounting systems and upload job budgets.
Manage the Carters Database of purchases and provide general backup support to accounting and administration staff.
Ensure proper maintenance of office filing systems and keep scanning and filing up to date.

Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to efforts of continuous improvement within the accounting team and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with teams to develop solutions and address any challenges that arise.

Customer Satisfaction:

Maintain a clear focus on customer satisfaction, both internally and externally, while performing tasks and responsibilities.
