This role is part of the Surveillance team, within the Natixis Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) Compliance team. You will help to optimize the surveillance framework.
  • In coordination with Global Surveillance teams, support in the management, analysis and improvement of both automated and manual surveillance frameworks and participate in regular version and enhancement releases
  • Liaison with Surveillance vendor(s), and drive the definition & communication of Natixis Surveillance business requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for both the Global Surveillance team & Surveillance IT, with key involvement in overall Governance, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance testing, model validation & data design
  • Investigate, prioritize, manage & escalate as required issues to various Compliance, Surveillance IT, Front Office IT & management stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement through coverage enhancements (new entities, products, platforms), improving training documentation, processes / methodologies & reporting / analysis capabilities
  • Master the system configuration options and suggest changes to parameters in order to enhance the detection capabilities and to obtain more pertinent alerts, whilst also designing & managing tools to aid this process
  • Support annual Market Abuse Risk Assessment & algorithmic trading assessments

Profil et compétences requises
  • Working practice as a Business Analyst for capital markets trade surveillance systems across asset classes
  • Regulatory knowledge (Market Abuse Regulation & other global regulations / regulators, Conduct rules)
  • Hybrid BA / Project Management skills strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal confidently and persuasively with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with traded products: Commodities, Equity, OTC derivatives, bonds, options, Foreign Exchange (FX)
  • Strong data analysis skills with ability to analyse, summarize and succinctly communicate assessments and key takeaways
  • Quantitative / data background, relational database, SQL
  • Quality assurance and testing experience desirable
  • Change Management / Transformation skills
  • Fluency in English and French would be an advantage
