What does the job look like?
The role of the Management Accountant is to support the National Transport Finance Manager and the NZ Warehouse Manager by providing financial reports, analysis, and advice in accordance with Linfox policies, legislative obligations, and customer requirements. You will be responsible responsible for coordinating and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, supporting the finance team in the completion of budgeting and forecasting, providing analysis of reported data to key internal and external stakeholders in understanding the operational and financial performance, designing, and developing analytical and financial modelling tools / systems. Key Areas:

Regular reporting - weekly and monthly P&L reporting for Warehouse and Transport
Preparation and analysis of financial and non-financial data for Warehouse and Transport profit centres
Develop and maintain specific KPIs to support the BU and customer reporting requirements
Customer pricing - provide calculations and analysis to assist in setting rates for individual customers
Facilitate continuous improvement of systems and processes for capturing data and for producing and communicating management information
Perform other projects as directed

Are you the one?
You are a highly skilled and motivated finance professional with excellent problem solving and analytical skills. You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment, and independently when required. You can demonstrate:

Experienced Management Accountant working across finance and accounting areas, especially cost or financial accounting, as well as auditing
Demonstrated analytical skills and with knowledge of cost modelling and journals
Understanding of commercial agreements
Ability to work under pressure and have a results-oriented approach
Advanced computing skills including MS Excel
Demonstrated experience working knowledge of SAP is desirable
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
