More about this role:

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be an end-to-end business partner, providing financial analysis and commercial decision support to our New Zealand Sales Leads. You will work with Customer and Category teams to build robust commercial forecasts, drive trade spend and mix optimisation, provide management KPI reporting, constructively challenge forecast assumptions and work alongside business stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

You enjoy converting data into actionable insights to support effective decision making by key business stakeholders. What sets you apart is your ability to see the trends behind the numbers, produce insights, identify business opportunities, and add value through your analysis and influence.

How you will contribute

Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management to influence commercial decision making; including annual planning, monthly forecasting, performance reporting & analysis, financial modelling, and decision support
Provide clarity on progress to Customer Leads across key performance metrics and drive accountability to ensure delivery of NZ business targets
Contribute to portfolio reviews to optimise channel and product mix to drive margin improvement
Support ROI reviews to drive optimisation of trade spend programs
Contribute to a high-performing Finance team; you will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers
Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working by embracing a continuous improvement mindset
Contribute to a strong governance framework and ensure full compliance with our policies

What you will bring

Strong stakeholder management skills and high change agility
Financial acumen and commercial understanding
Accomplished in the identification of insights and opportunities for business performance improvement
Professionally qualified with CPA or CA (or working toward qualification)

A desire to drive your future & accelerate your career. You will bring experience & knowledge in:

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial analysis and data collection/structuring
BUSINESS ACUMEN and a basic understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market; Relevant experience in a regional (or sizeable local) business
LEADERSHIP SKILLS including collaboration and communication skills within a larger Finance team
GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations
