you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the efficient management of funds.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ø Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Ø Recording financial transactions using computerized accounting systems.
Ø Ensuring data integrity and completeness in financial databases.
Ø Monitoring cash flow to ensure efficient handling of funds.
Ø Maintaining lines of credit and managing associated documentation.
Ø Assisting in cash flow forecasting and planning.
Ø Preparing and producing financial statements, budget reports, and expenditure analyses.
Ø Utilizing accounting software packages, account books, and ledgers to compile these reports.
Ø Providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
Ø Preparing and issuing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Ø Processing purchase orders and ensuring they align with financial policies.
Ø Handling bank deposits and reconciling them with sales and expenses.
Ø Reconciling accounts against monthly bank statements to identify discrepancies.
Ø Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or irregularities promptly.
Ø Verifying recorded transactions for accuracy and completeness.
Ø Reporting any irregularities or inconsistencies to management for further investigation.
Ø Assisting in preparing forms related to business tax entitlements and obligations.
Ø Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including goods and services tax (GST) reporting.
Ø Diploma or above qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Ø Ideal you have relevant experience, but it is not essential, we are looking for someone who is reliable and has great attention to detail.
Ø Proficiency in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ø Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ø Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ø Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ø Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
