Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, HRO (Payroll and Time)

  • Manage operational activities of payroll and time service delivery.
  • Management of data and payroll processing services to ensure that all employees in the region are paid on time and accurately and that related statutory and governmental duties are met.
  • Drive successful tax reconciliation and year-end payroll processes/ activities.
  • Validation of all payments and deductions and improve accuracy controls.
  • Handle reporting requests to support decision making.
  • Ensure customer queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner.
  • Oversees process improvements to ensure efficient and accurate data and payroll processing, payroll tax reporting, payroll accounting, and record retention.
  • Oversee all payroll compliance and SOX controls are effective and managed by defined policy and audit plans.
  • Partner with finance to ensure all data is efficiently managed into the finance system.
  • Serve as an escalation point of contact.
  • Interacts, on a regular basis, with payroll and data vendors to work on changes, solutions, and improvements.
  • Contributes to the regular operations review and quarterly business review of client's payroll vendors' performance relative to contractual service level agreements between such vendor and client. Work in collaboration with cross-functional operation, technical and corporate teams to successfully manage large-scale projects such as continuous improvement initiatives, technology updates/upgrades, acquisitions/divestitures, etc.
  • Deep understanding of quality & compliance to North/South America local laws & regulations is necessary requirement.

Qualifications we seek in you
  • Any Graduate / Postgraduate
  • Excellent soft skills to deal with the sensitive employee grievances or relations
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills in English

Preferred qualifications
  • PGDBM / Relevant certification in HR will be preferred
  • Experience in Workday & ServiceNow
  • Green belt/ Lean Six sigma certified.
  • Relevant experience in NA HRO domain
