How to contribute to our vision

Siemens Energy & Siemens Gamesa are looking for a qualified Accounting Manager to be the Regional Business Partner Manager for one of our Regional Accounting Hubs. You will be required to collaborate with our extensive network of businesses throughout the Hub, Auditors, Head Quarters and other teams within Regional Accounting worldwide. Working with people throughout the organization and all hierarchies. As an RBP Manager you will need to be able to take the lead in aligning the treatment for complex, non-routine accounting topics and be able to dissipate the learnings coming out of the decisions reached. Prepare and conduct trainings on complex accounting topics. You will have several years of experience and strong leadership skills.
  • Manage a team of highly skilled professionals as well as act as the interface between Accounting and the business.
  • Take the lead in accounting governance, policies and processes the Hub and ensure processes and policies are in adherence to Siemens Energy policies and IFRS.
  • Develop and maintain a business focused process through the Hub where all teams (Financial Statement & Closing and Local Execution) know the role they play and have the support necessary to be success in supporting the European businesses.
  • Developing and coaching team members/direct reports.
  • Contribute to the development of and ensuring appropriate IFRS knowledge by providing trainings to the finance and accounting community on a regular basis and in case of accounting policy change.
  • Develop and provide ongoing training on complex accounting topics to our finance and commercial community.
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement and harmonization of accounting and reporting processes for internal and external purposes and training of the application of those processes.
  • Fostering a collaboration culture which develops and supports mobility of talents throughout the world.
  • Support the regional application of Risk & Internal Control methodology.
  • Support Head of the Hub with strategic topics w.r.t Regional Accounting function.

What you need to make a difference

  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent), with strong collaborative and problem solving skills
  • Strong technical accounting and analytical expertise
  • Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence
  • Experience in the assessment of complex and non-routine accounting transactions and referring to FRGs and IFRS standards in order to find solutions.
  • At least 3 years managing a team of qualified professionals
  • People management and cross culture skills
  • IT literate; capable in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Structured and independent style of work
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
