The Jr. Accounts Payable Analyst will provide regional support to multiple branches, in the area of Payables. This position is fully in-office and based in our West Sacramento, CA branch.

Pay is between $20-$24 hourly

* Pay is negotiable, depending on experience, skillset, and education.

Job Responsibilities:

* Receive and distribute incoming AP invoices for approval
* Prepare and process invoices in internal system (Deltek Vision) in an accurate and timely manner, while adhering to departmental procedures
* Handle administrative tasks, such as scanning, printing, and data entry
* Assist in preparation of bi-weekly and monthly vendor statements
* Monitor and track aging AP
* Review and verify vendor statements as needed
* Enter and maintain new vendor accounts
* Maintain subcontractor agreements
* Identify and resolve any discrepancies between invoices and payables' outstanding
* Manage and reconcile multiple credit card accounts
* May assist with COI (Certificate of Insurance) requests as needed
* Other job duties as assigned by Direct Supervisor and Sr. AP Analyst

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma/GED
* Valid Driver's License, with an acceptable driving record
* Minimum 1 yr. of experience performing AP duties and functions, in a current or recent role
* Understanding of compliance issues around accounts payables processes (W-9, COI, licenses, etc.)
* Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills
* Professional etiquette and excellent customer service skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to effectively communicate information to and work with all levels of the organization
* Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the a high sense of urgency to addressing discrepancies
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong level of commitment to accuracy and eagerness for resolving errors and problems.
* Ability to be helpful and informative, and work in a team-oriented environment
* Ability to follow and retain instructions and learn new tasks quickly
* Good understanding of MS Office programs, including Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) industry is a PLUS, but not required
* Experience with Deltek Vision is a PLUS, but not required
