Assistant Controller

We are seeking a strong-willed and results driven Assistant Controller to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
* Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the accounting department
* Supporting the Controller in budgeting and forecasting processes
* Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company procedures
* Participating in internal and external audits
* Analyzing financial data and providing insights to improve financial performance
* Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
* Collaborating with other departments to support overall business objectives

Must know and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC Code of Conduct, Hensley Environmental Policies, Hensley Safety Policies, and Hensley Quality Policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
* CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred or other certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
* Desires to continue professional development in accounting and finance through seminars and courses
* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Previous experience in financial reporting and analysis.
* Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
* Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Supervisory or management experience
* Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software
* Experience in preparing & presenting financial statements. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
* Strong people management skills
