Between £23,400 - £26,000 Depending on experience

Your Opportunity as a Purchase Ledger Clerk

Due to this growth and our increasing customer base, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Purchase Ledger Clerk, within our Finance Team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous accounting experience and interested in a new challenge in a friendly environment.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Processing supplier invoice payments on a weekly basis.
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox and dealing with any enquiries that come through.
  • Recording, allocating and reconciling bank transactions using our in-house systems
  • Upholding and maintaining financial records
  • Assisting with processing payment for staff expense and credit card claims.
  • Liasing with internal and external departments

What We're Looking for in our Purchase Ledger Clerk?

We're seeking a confident and friendly individual who is comfortable communicating with our suppliers via phone and email, in a professional manner. Previous experience would be beneficial, but full training is provided.

In addition, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Team player mentality and collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to work accurately and strong attention to detail.
