We are looking for a person who will be able to fulfill the following requirements:
  • Take responsibility for the weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end operational results reports. This would include, but not be limited to:

o Preparation of weekly and monthly Property operational reports;
o Preparation of monthly management reports;
o Monthly collections, bad debts and arrear reports;
o Quarterly reports for Audit committee and Board of Directors;
o Quarterly evaluation and assessment of property valuations;
o Calculation and reporting of the monthly Preferential Procurement for BBBEE scorecard;
o Monthly calculation and reporting of the Group's Measures of Performance; and
o Prepare key stats and charts for the annual integrated report.
  • Be involved in and take initiative in the improvement of the current reporting templates. Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as and when the need arises.
  • Assist in developing reports in PowerBI using data from MDA.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have:
  • A BCom Accounting or BCom Finance degree.
  • Professional accreditation will be an added advantage, preferably CIMA.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position or in a Management Accounting or Business Intelligence role within Property Management Services is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Previous use and good knowledge of MDA and Power Query and PowerBI is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Able to adapt and learn quickly.
  • Good planning and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and is results driven.

The successful candidate needs to have high levels of attention to detail and be results focused. Other competencies required for the role include the individual having a hands-on approach with the ability to take initiative and problem- solve.
