On behalf of our client based in Heywood, we are recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk with a minimum of 3 years previous Purchase Ledger experience.

Duties:

* Process and record invoices, payments and expenses

* Maintain the Purchase Ledger system and ensure all transactions are properly documented

* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues

* Prepare and process payment runs, including cheques, bank transfers and electronic payments

* Assist with month end closing activities and provide support for financial audits

* Collaborate with internal teams and resolve any invoice or payment related queries

* Maintain accurate financial records

* Assist with other accounting tasks as required

Skills/ Experience required:

* Minimum of 3 years Purchase Ledger experience

* Strong knowledge of financial management practices

* Proficiency in Accounting software

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong organisational skills

* Strong communication skills both written and verbal

The package:

* Salary to £28000 depending upon experience

* Hours of work 8.30am to 5.00pm (40 hours per week)

* 23 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
