Job Description:

Pay Range $55.89hr - $60.89hr

  • Responsible for processing, monitoring & maintenance of payroll data.
  • Addresses complex tax issues & responds to appropriate agency.
  • Responsible for payroll systems (eTime & ADP).
  • Identifies process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepares various special pay calculations.
  • Prepares payroll upload & reports, as needed.
  • Responsible for employee garnishments, fringes & payments.
  • Serves as back-up to full scope of payroll.
  • Responsible for multi-state payroll set up, compliance & processing.
  • Conducts training on HR systems/payroll practices, as required.
  • Prepares complex reports to support & comply with government requirements.
  • Maintains systems to provide accurate reporting.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal & state laws.
  • Prepares & coordinates payroll transactions to general ledger.
  • Responsible for expatriate pay calculations & monitors net pay calculations each pay period.
  • Ensures proper programming of payroll systems for special calculations & compliance, engaging.
  • ADP to create change requests & thorough testing of solutions.
  • Supports Rewards & Recognition team to ensure timely 401(k) & HSA funding.
  • Supports cross-functional teams within P&O & other departments, as required.
  • Provides support & assistance to the Finance Team & other general accounting functions.
  • Provides seamless year-end & year-begin processes.
  • Ensures accurate 401(k) & benefit data as it relates to payroll by performing regular data audits.
  • Identifies & manages payroll quality control standards.
  • Conducts internal quarterly 401(k) audits to reconcile with vendor data.
  • Serves as liaison to internal & external financial auditors.
  • Responsible for the monthly anniversary rewards program.
  • Prepares payroll input & reconciliation for company government grants & incentives reporting.
  • Prepares materials & participates in new hire orientation.
  • Responsible for absenteeism/absence reporting.
  • Responsible for annual audit data preparation, including but not limited to the following:
  • Internal GIA & external minimal controls audit.
  • Worker s compensation payroll audit.
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on Payroll Processing experience (not just managing).
  • Must have multistate experience, Inpat/Expat processing experience, and Canada processing.
  • SAP or ADP Payroll processing preferred.
  • APA Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) strongly preferred.
  • ADP Reporting (Workforce Now), ADP eTime system and SAP/HR system.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience in the HR environment.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) as well as all Federal, State & Local tax laws.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (vLookup, pivot tables, mail/email merges, presentations).
  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • FPC/CPP preferred.

  • Strong core payroll knowledge.
  • ADP e time experience Must have.
  • ADP Workforce now Must have.
  • Excel work office suite intermediate level.
  • 10+ years hands-on payroll experience, not just managing.
