Staff Accountant

An ADP client is currently recruiting for an experienced individual to be our next Accountant to join our team in our West Hills, California 91307 location.

Pain relief comes from treating each patient's unique symptoms after thorough consultation and proper diagnosis.

We treat athletes with sports injuries, car accident patients, and patients with painful conditions, injuries, and disabilities, and those with migraines and chronic headaches. Some of our treatment options include Platelet Rich Plasma injections, Stem Cell Therapy, and other injections. We also collaborate with attorneys with personal injury cases who require proper medical documentation for legal action.

Job Summary:

This position is a new opportunity for an outstanding candidate who has worked in accounting field. The candidate will perform administrative clerical duties to support the Chief Financial Officer in general accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and assist in month-end. The ideal candidate will work under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer and will also interact directly with the owners in their management of privately held real estate investment portfolio.

What you will do:Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

Assist in daily correspondences with billing company by scanning and logging mail and payments received.
Assist with processing vendor invoices and issuing of weekly payments for multiple entities.
Reconcile credit card statements to supporting documents.
Assist with month-end bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
Assist in posting monthly closing entries for multiple entities.
File and maintain of various legal, bank and tax documents.
Complete any special projects as assigned.
Other duties may be assigned by management.

Our Perfect Candidate

Education and Experience:

Associate degree in accounting is required.
3-5+ years relevant accounting experience required.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Candidate should have a background in real estate experience is required.
Experience with QuickBooks and Excel (spreadsheets skills i.e., formulas, Marcos, or pivot tables is required.
Skilled in identifying and communicating problems to the Chief Financial Officer.
Familiarity with commercial real estate accounting processes and software (Yardi, Argus, Appfolio, and MRI, etc.) is a plus.

Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Dependable, great attitude and collaborator.
Must be open and flexible to constant changing directions.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.

Company Offers:

Annual salary range is 55k to $60k to be commensurate with experience and education.
