The Project Accountant is responsible for completing pay applications and assisting with billing. This person will work in direct support of the Accounting Manager.

Essential Functions

* Assist with billing, specifically in regard to Locklear/Rogers projects
* Reconcile jobs
* Change order research and help get change orders for all salesmen
* Proper project close out
* Comsense reports, cleaning up WIP and sales orders
* Research back charges, missing material, change orders, etc.
* Other relative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

* Associates' degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
* Experience in both construction and accounting related positions preferred
* Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Strong mathematical and analytical skills required
* Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills are also critical
