Job Title: Accounting Associate

Job Summary: The Accounting Associate is responsible for assisting with various financial tasks, including but not limited to, maintaining financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping:
    • Record financial transactions in accounting software.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Accounts Payable:
    • Process and verify invoices for payment.
    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Generate and send out invoices.
    • Follow up on overdue payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Expense Reports:
    • Review and process employee expense reports.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
    • Provide support for financial audits.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
    • Monitor budget vs. actual performance.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
    • Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information.
    • Collaborate with the finance team on various projects.

  • Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Experience: Relevant experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred, but entry-level candidates may be considered.

    Salary $65,000-$70,000
