The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 year's public accounting experience. CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required. Primary responsibilities will include working with a variety of individual, business and high net worth individuals on tax advisory services, planning and preparation. Real estate tax and accounting experience preferred.

Summary of Responsibilities

Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services; devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues. Prepare and/or review returns for corporate, partnership, estates, trusts or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.

Essential Functions
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns for entities and individuals
  • Tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners
  • Build relationships with existing clients
  • Perform tax research
  • Resolve tax notices from IRS or other tax authorities

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Punctual and detail oriented
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Ability to effectively operate office equipment and a variety of computer programs
  • Able to work effectively with staff members, clients, and vendors

Education/Experience
  • 2+ years Public Accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field; Master of Tax desirable
  • CPA candidate or CPA License preferred; but not required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam

Preference given to candidates residing in Southern California or greater Phoenix area
