About the role

The Market Interaction Team Leader will provide direction and management for the Market Interaction Team, to ensure that change of supply processes are managed effectively for both gas and electricity customers. They will also ensure they are managing a high performing team and working towards improving employee development and KPI Improvements.

ENGIE are recruiting for a Market Interaction Team Leader based in Leeds . This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the Change of Supplier process for both gas and electricity is completed in a timely and accurate manner, and assist with the maintenance and development of all registration systems and processes.
  • Manage resolution of exceptions and seek to minimise unnecessary costs associated with the registration process, with particular focus on ensuring objections are not missed, late registrations are avoided, agent de-appointments are made.
  • Management of the ET Process ensuring we are abiding by Industry SLAs in line with Performance Assurance
  • Ensure all other related registration processes, including Elec new connections, are operated in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with business and industry practices, including change of measurement class, start and end reads, agent appointments, and reconfirmations.
  • Manage the existing NHH, NDM and associated gas physical metering estate, including meter moves, energisation, de- energisation and disconnection of electricity meters, and assist the Settlement & Consumption teams with resolution of DM and HH issues where necessary.
  • Work with ENGIE SHEQ to ensure that third party agents adhere to ENGIE's SHEQ standards and that Risk Assessment Method Statements are agreed for on-site metering work with each agent and amended as necessary to reflect changing risks.

Key Requirements
  • Previous team leader experience is beneficial
  • Experience from a similar role within the Energy sector, desirable
  • Experience in a customer satisfaction focused or back office senior role
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Understanding of the customer lifecycle and interdependencies between Market Operations and interfacing departments.
  • Non-technical understanding of software interfaces and incident resolution paths
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Process improvement methodology expertise is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of industry processes particularly the relevant areas of the Licences, UNC, BSC, MRA, DCUSA, SEC, SMICOP and DTC/Xoserve flows is desirable.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
