  • Maintain a financial risk register for presentation to the legal entity board of directors.
  • Partner with Controllership and Shared Services in monitoring the accuracy of financial statements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve regulatory reporting processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting, including audits and external tax filings.
  • Act as a point of escalation for external auditors during the audit process.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent international accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years PQE.
  • Hands-on experience managing financial reporting submissions and capital adequacy in a regulatory environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of FCA reporting requirements (e.g., MIFIDPRU 8 Disclosure, ICARA process).
  • Highly motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
  • Knowledge of local UK GAAP/IFRS; US-GAAP desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Financial Systems and Hyperion Financial Management preferred.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies in Dubai, South Africa, and Jersey is an advantage.
