Finance Data Analytics Manager Glasgow
As a Barclays Finance Data Analytics Manager, you will act as a bridge between CFO Business partner teams, who work collaboratively and closely with the Financial Control, Treasury, Impairment, Cost, Stress Test and Business Functions. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the decision-making process for the Executive teams by providing high quality decision support, insights, performance reporting and analysis.

What will you be doing?
Designing, developing, and producing value add Management Information reports for the CFO MI team, as well being accountable for MI reports and analytics, leveraging SAS and Essbase
Developing and operating processes to deliver MIS for regulatory reporting purposes, setting the operational goals and direction for monthly segment level financials processes
Collaborating with the bank leadership team while working with stakeholders across the bank to identify and prioritize additional regulatory related MIS capability
Creating and providing relevant artefacts to manage process in a controlled and governed manner
Providing coaching and institutional knowledge to all stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is understood and explainable; being a custodian for DataMart processes
Supporting as a change agent on applying appropriate technology solutions to drive Transform and Innovation and modify current work process to optimize capabilities and improve efficiency
Holding various financial and non-financial stakeholder management and business engagement meetings
Collaborating with CFO MI team and other MI stakeholders to assist with successful implementation of regulatory information requests, to include testing and data verification
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in any field and progressive experience in SAS/SQL Programmer, Financial/Systems/Data/SAS Analyst, or closely related position
Able to utilize SAS, SQL, and VBA to build and develop systems to perform fully integrated, financial reporting, planning & analysis capability and data mining / extraction
Ability to Interpret and leverage data to optimize profitability and potential partner additions; performing financial analysis and valuation to evaluate and create ad hoc analysis
Very good communication skills, written and interpersonal, and the ability to maintain effective working relationships
Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience in production MI or development, preferably in banking, experience in Credit Card or Financial Industry
Understanding of Finance MI tools & architecture
Performing process developments and improvements for statistical and financial reporting analysis; utilizing advanced MS Excel, Pivot Table and MS Power Point to present reports
Proficient in the usage of SAS and knows how to understand its relationship with Cards reporting systems; able to manage large data sets
