What to expect:


  • Monitoring regulatory changes and updates, influencing Paysafe’s payments handling process

  • To ensure and facilitate error-free payment processing between the Company and its external partners and customers

  • To ensure and facilitate the accounting process of all internal and external payments

  • To assist with the processing of specialized payments - external third-party provider payments, automated payments, etc

  • To locate the customer and non-customer deposits, received in the company’s bank accounts according to the internal rules and procedures

  • To execute daily control over automated payments processes and ensure that all reconciliation mismatches are handled by the end of each business day

  • To ensure collection, distribution, and archiving of all outstanding daily bank statements for all bank accounts held by the Company

  • To assist in the month-end financial closure by presenting clear accounting screens and detailed reports on the outstanding accounting entries to the Direct Manager and any parties who may request a copy of the report

  • Provide internal support to the Call Centre and Customer Service departments in the Company. Timelines for handling various inquiries are to be provided separately in the Payments Officer Objectives document



To be successful you need to have:


  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role

  • University degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting or equivalent

  • Familiar with different payment methods and bank statement specifications

  • Previous experience with Online payments industry, Fintech or Banking would be considered an advantage

  • Clear communicator (written and verbal) in English (additional language is a plus)

  • Creative problem solver

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Impeccable attention to details

  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables

  • In-depth understanding of business processes

  • Can-do positive mindset

  • A fast ad-hoc learner with high levels of flexibility and adaptability to change
