Part of a group finance team and directly supporting the Head of Finance and COO. This role has responsibility for partnering with both the businesses and functional streams alongside delivering timely & accurate month end reporting, business intelligence and insightful actionable analytics are provided to our functional and market teams. Ensure that the information provided helps to shape the future of the business, driving commercial performance & delivery of the financial plan.

What You Will Do

The role will focus on the following areas:
  • Stakeholder engagement to senior manager level
  • Partner Divisional Operational, Sales, and Practice Directors to ensure cost forecasts are accurately maintained
  • Managing month end processes and close within the Division
  • Be an effective business partner, while constantly seeking out opportunities to improve performance and management information, driving insight through data
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline the processes and drive efficiencies
  • Contribute as a member of the business unit management teams, responsible for day-to-day operational performance of the business and relaying financial performance & risk
  • Support the forecasting and planning for the division
  • Work with the business on identification and reporting of Strategic change plans and feeding into the centre
  • Collaborate with the central finance team to deliver best in class reporting, forecasting and insightful analysis and transformational change
  • Coaching and developing members of the team

What You Will Have
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA)
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong analytical skills; quantitative or financial techniques with keen approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Experience of preparing business / investment cases
  • Solid background in accounting, financial planning, budgeting and financial modelling
  • Hands-on and Excel expertise an advantage
  • Working within Finance or alongside functional operations an advantage
  • Strong people management skills
  • Exposure to BI and Performance Management tools
  • Experience of working within corporate environment, matrix experience desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with cross-functional, cross-cultural teams
  • Consistent attention to detail and accuracy, delivering outputs of the highest standards
  • Proactive, insightful and commercially astute
  • Solid working knowledge of finance systems
