Our client requires a CIL / S106 Officer to carry out a role that will focus on data input and carrying out analysis using the Exacom software system. It will be your responsibility to monitor the collection and expenditure of financial receipts. They have a very busy programme so they will need you to be competent in this area of work and able to hit the ground running. The role has a key admin function within the development management area of planning and will make full use of your data and spreadsheet management skills.

The role primarily involves determining CIL liabilities and administration and collection of BCIL and MCIL in accordance with the Regulations. It would also be helpful for the successful candidate to have s106 experience as the role would also involve some day to day organisational and administrative tasks to maintain the Council’s s106 data and monitor section 106 agreements and projects.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience in the administration and collection of CIL. It would also be preferable but not essential if you have worked in a CIL collection role in a London Borough and have experience of working with Exacom.

You will need to be confident dealing with external contacts, in particular representatives from developers working in the Borough. You will need good financial management skills and be able to organise and manage complex data in order to support the delivery of projects to a high standard.

The role is based in South East London and the rate offered is between £25-£35/hr Umbrella depending on your experience. This role is inside IR35.

It will initially be a 3 month contract but there is potential for it to be extended beyond this. It will be a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.
