About the role
The Finance Team at Capco is responsible for preparing, analysing, and advising on the financial status of the firm. We focus on operational excellence by ensuring accuracy and compliance with global financial rules and regulations. From concept to contract completion, our team works directly along-side senior leadership and stakeholders to yield a high-performance business by mitigating risks and increasing profits.
The Group Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is a global team, providing analytical review and analysis to the Group Financial Controller, the CFO, and other senior stakeholders across the business including Wipro head office. The team is responsible for monthly Management Information, Group revenue assurance and audit deliverables, Board submission financial analysis, Group budget and regular analysis and reforecast.
Reporting to one of our Group FP&A Managers, and attached to the London Head Office, Capco are looking for a hands-on and experienced FP&A Specialist to join their Global FP&A team. You will closely collaborate with colleagues both abroad and in the UK and will act as a key business partner with key stakeholders from all our global locations and at Wipro, as well as our centralised Group functions such as Operations, Human Capital, Marketing, Legal and IT.
You have an opportunity to directly influence overall finance strategy and month end and budgeting & planning processes. You must be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and able to identify solutions to complex problems, then roll-up your sleeves to drive implementation and track the impact of your findings.
Revenue Assurance Reporting: working in collaboration with the Audit and Assurance team and the Group Financial Controller, this role will be a key liaison with the parent company Revenue Assurance team as well as Wipro Internal Audit and our external SOX compliance consultants.
Revenue Assurance Reporting will include responsibility for understanding Group reporting of revenue recognition and will require regular liaison with Group FP&A owners of key regions, as well as key regional Financial Controllers to understand, report, review, challenge, and ultimately gain revenue assurance across the global business in line with the reviews coming from Wipro.
Understand and, where necessary, coordinate, key reporting due to Wipro Revenue Assurance.
Assist in month end reporting and analysis, where required, working with the Group Head of FP&A and the Group Financial Controller.
Challenge and analyse the Group reporting to ensure a strong level of understanding within the FP&A team, and to enable value-add internal reporting.
Review and continually improve the reporting process and reporting templates to ensure consistent and efficient reporting across the group, leveraging functionality of existing systems & tools and help implement new, fit-for-purpose systems & tools.
Playing key role in the production of monthly, quarterly, and full year reporting MI.
Preparation and coordination of annual budgets (both regional and consolidated view).
Ensure FP&A processes are documented and reviewed regularly to ensure best practice is followed.
Provide ad hoc analysis and support to finance projects, as and when required.
Where required, provide business partnering support to the senior leadership team, whilst establishing strong and effective relationships across all levels in the business.
About the person
Qualified individual (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a track record of interacting with finance and non-finance teams, as well presenting data to senior stakeholders.
Prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger welcome but not necessary.
Strong analytical skills to be able to effectively deliver concise output and messaging.
Able to juggle fast paced deadlines.
Ability to demonstrate improvements through business process re-engineering within FP&A.
Strong interpersonal skills; in building relationships, managing expectations in interacting with all levels of management, including senior stakeholders inside and outside of Finance.
Able to operate in quickly changing environments whilst being well organised, pro-active, responsive, proactive, and deadline driven.
Experience with large enterprise applications including Anaplan is a plus.
Experience of working in a global company with multiple legal entities.
Excellent Excel skills and communication skills.
