What you will do in your working day
Assist with bookkeeping duties for several companies:
  • Handling daily bank reconciliations
  • Processing of sales invoices
  • Checking & processing of purchase invoices
  • Checking of supplier statements against purchase ledger records, requesting copy invoices from suppliers
  • Financial reporting for internal departments

Provide Administration support to the Maintenance department:
  • Appointment Booking & diary management for team members
  • Processing quotes and orders through the software system
  • Sourcing products to ensure a competitive price and short lead time
  • Liaising with suppliers, managing lead times & order updates
The training you will be getting
The successful applicant will study Level 2 Accounts Finance Assistant. The course is delivered by Wakefield college on a day release. The apprenticeship duration is 15-months (12-months practical and 3-months for the end point assessment)

Opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship.
