My client, a leading chartered accountancy practice based in North Leeds are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join their ever growing team.
The right candidate will have experience of processing high volume payroll.
Duties of Payroll Clerk: * Collecting timesheet data and payroll information from clients * Entering data into payroll and internal programs * Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions and commissions * Preparing and processing payslips * Ensuring that clients are aware of their PAYE and National Insurance liabilities * Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions * Preparing and distributing income statements * Responding to payroll-related enquiries * Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations * Preparing financial reports for accounting purposes * Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management * Processing payroll journals into clients' bookkeeping software
* Experienced in payroll administration of high volume * Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure * High level of attention to detail and accuracy with reviewing payroll, reports, and HR system * Proactive approach * Good attention to detail * Excellent time management * Good IT skills and confidence in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook * Highly organised * Ability to work in a fast paced environment
