Dedicate Recruitment is working with this community-driven Multi Academy Trust in Staffordshire to recruit a forward-thinking and strategically focused Finance Business Partner. Working within the central finance function and supporting the Chief Finance Officer & Trust Executive Group, you will be on an exciting journey to develop and implement best in class. \r\n\r\n

The Finance Business Partner will support 16 schools to advise on financial planning, budgeting & analysis, including payroll reconciliation, to ensure that deadlines are met whilst maintaining confidentiality of information and assisting with day-to-day aspects of financial management. \r\n\r\n

Duties and responsibilities include; \r\n\r\n
    \r\n\tCollaboration with school office staff and headteachers to prepare monthly management accounts including forecasts and variance analysis, identifying financial risks and opportunities. \r\n\tSupport school office staff in the operation of the Trust Finance system and application of Trust financial procedures and policies. \r\n\tCollaboration with colleagues in the central team to review and revise financial policy, procedures and processes. \r\n\tProvide advice and guidance to school staff relating to existing finance policies, HMRC guidance and the Academies financial handbook. \r\n\tWelcome new staff who join the Trust and support them in the operation of the Trust’s finance system and all financial processes and procedures. \r\n \r\n\r\n
    Educated to GCSE level including English and Maths at grade A-C, the successful candidate will be either fully or part qualified or is willing to work towards a relevant qualification or equivalent. You will have established experience of working in a similar role with knowledge of setting budgets and forecasting. Highly IT literate, you will be naturally confident navigating financial software packages such as MS Office and PS Financials. \r\n\r\n

    Working constructively as part of a team, you will be highly organised and will positively influence and motivate staff. You will be an astute problem solver and can meet strict deadlines effectively. \r\n\r\n

    You will join a friendly team and will be required to work on an agile basis. Regular travel to other schools within the Trust will be required. \r\n\r\n

    This is a full-time post - 37hrs per week (52 weeks, whole year or 43 weeks TTO). \r\n\r\n
