Morgan McKinley London are delighted to be partnering with a growing business to recruit a couple of Finance Assistant's assistants on a permanent basis. Please note this will require a candidate to have a short or no notice period. Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:
- Oversee end-to-end AP and AR processes, including invoice processing, payment handling, and reconciliation.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in recording financial transactions.
Process Improvement and Value Addition:
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in AP and AR
- Contribute ideas and initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of current financial processes.
Initiative and Proactivity:
- Take the initiative to address financial discrepancies, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Anticipate and respond to challenges, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Vendor and Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers to facilitate smooth AP and AR processes.
Record Keeping and Compliance:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Assist in the generation of regular reports on AP and AR metrics.
- Contribute to financial analyses to provide insights that support decision-
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance roles, with exposure to AP and AR responsibilities.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to take initiative and work proactively.
- Proven Excel skills (Pivot tables).
- Integra - highly advantageous .
