We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Payroll Team Leader to join our team at Swissport GB. The successful candidate will lead a team of three payroll professionals, overseeing the end-to-end payroll process. This is a hybrid role, providing the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site.

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of three payroll specialists, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination within the payroll team.
  • Payroll Processing:
    • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for Swissport GB, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
    • Utilize ADP and Kronos systems for efficient and precise payroll processing.
  • Experience with ADP/Kronos:
    • Possess hands-on experience with ADP and Kronos systems.
    • Leverage this expertise to optimize payroll processes and troubleshoot any system-related issues.
  • Sickness Absence Management:
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of sickness absence policies and procedures.
    • Utilize 9/12 months of experience in processing sickness absences to ensure accurate and timely management.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay abreast of local payroll regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to address any compliance concerns.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate regular payroll reports for management review.
    • Conduct analysis on payroll data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the payroll function.
    • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Team Leader or similar role.
  • ADP and Kronos experience is preferred.
  • 9/12 months of experience in processing sickness absences.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
