With a strong focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality services to their customers.Job Summary:Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Assistant to join their supportive Finance team. As a key member of the Accounts Payable team, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable process for a portion of the ledger.

Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:* Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 10 Accounts Payable professionals.* Ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.EDI/Automated Invoicing:* Utilise sound Excel knowledge to reconcile Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and automated invoicing.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues.Process Improvement:* Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.* Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Vendor Management:* Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve any payment-related queries.* Collaborate with procurement teams to streamline vendor onboarding and payment processes.Compliance:* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant accounting standards.* Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting accounts payable processes.Qualifications:* Proven experience in a senior accounts payable role, preferably in a large and complex organization.* Strong knowledge of Excel for reconciling EDI and automated invoicing.* Excellent leadership and communication skills.* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
