Based within Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, the role's primary responsibility is to supply senior management, business leaders, and CBG investor relations with accurate financial analysis and information. In this role you will partner with the COO division and support the Head of FP&A, providing departmental analysis and financial modelling. You will also assist with presentations and ad hoc analysis.

  • Own the Finance relationship with the COO division and various shared service areas.
  • Compilation of clear and accurate MI of a consistently high quality to support the COO division in tracking, forecasting and evaluating results, trends and initiatives.
  • Responsibility for the financial analysis of new projects within CBAM, including understanding and analysing new projects, preparation of project budgets, tracking actuals against those budgets and regularly reforecasting.
  • Monthly management reporting packs ensuring accurate and timely reporting including preparation of project financials for the CBAM Project investment Committee (PIC).
  • Building close working relationships with the COO, the COO's leadership team and individual Project Managers.
  • Support the Head of FP&A and the wider FP&A team in the budget and forecasting process.
  • Support the development and enhancement of the FP&A output, aiming to increase automation, improve efficiency and tighten controls.
  • Responding to ad hoc queries and projects and providing support to the business heads, senior management, CFO and FP&A team.

  • Highly numerate individual with a logical mind and appreciation for accuracy.
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA).
  • Ability to own and manage a range of tasks and projects through to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to combine detailed analysis with professional presentation.
  • Demonstrable line management experience.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a high performing team.
  • Experience of working on project financials and budget collation/monitoring would be a plus, but not essential.
  • Experience in a commercially-oriented FP&A role within an asset management or financial services firm would also be a plus, but not essential.
