Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with complete and up to date knowledge of Xero software?

Do you enjoy running your own processes and do you have meticulous attention to detail, required for financial reporting?

Do you find the idea of running in-house accounts for a Private Family Office appealing? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

As this is a new role, you will be required to spend the first couple of months working from the beautiful home office in SW1. There will be the opportunity to work hybrid or remotely once established.

What you’ll be doing day to day:
  • Processing payments, invoices, and production of monthly pay run reports
  • Monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, including profit and loss
  • Preparing and filing of VAT returns on one account
  • Reconciliation of all accounts (3 or 4) and staff credit cards (approx. 15)
  • Supporting main accountants in preparation of end of year reporting
  • Overview of all credit accounts with suppliers
  • Maintenance and reporting on the property management system (training will be given)
  • Ad-hoc admin tasks as required

The skills you need to bring:
  • Proven complete knowledge of Xero software and any add-on software
  • Ideally 5+ years working in a similar role
  • Focussed with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work within a small team as well as autonomously
  • Reliability and professionalism
  • Ability to work with sensitive information
