Join our Direct Tax Reporting Team as a Manager and act as the Tax Reporting lead for our Macquarie Capital Advisors business unit. In this exciting new role, you will report to a Director in the EMEA Tax Reporting team.
What role will you play?
As a manager in the team, you will also act as the Tax Reporting Lead for one of Macquarie's key Business Units, Macquarie Capital Advisors, overseeing the Tax Reporting process for key operating entities in the UK and across the region. This will include advising on the tax accounting implications of key transactions, inputting into the monthly reporting process, providing signoff on tax notes in statutory accounts and reviewing tax returns for entities.
Using your relationship building skills you will work closely with the Tax Advisory and Finance teams to ensure that transactions are appropriately reflected from a Tax Reporting perspective.
You will also work with our Revenue Engagement teams to provide support for ongoing enquires/tax audits and support MacCap Advisors on regional Tax Reporting issues including acquisitions and ad hoc projects. There will be lots of scope to provide support for process improvement and change management initiatives across our EMEA tax reporting with an ongoing focus on data & technology.
What you will offer
To be successful in the role you will have at least 5 years post qualification experience and ideally be operating at a manager level within a Tax Reporting in-house team or within an accountancy firm. You will also have a strong Tax technical skill set and Corporate Tax experience for large corporate groups, which will include tax accounting and compliance.
You will have an ability to understand complex structures and transactions, be able to work well under pressure and showcase your ambition with a high level of energy.
