We are looking for a strategically minded Director of Financial Performance to support the university and wider LSBU Group in taking forward strong financial planning, decision making and delivery.

The role will be pivotal in the design and achievement of our strategic financial plans. This is a hands-on role leading the finance business partnering activity, management accounts and short and long term financial forecasting at LSBU and consolidating these across the Group.

This is an exciting time to join the LSBU Group, we are renewing our corporate strategy and updating our financial strategy, both aspects the successful candidate will be able to contribute to. We are undertaking an estates masterplan that could have a transformative impact on our estate and lead to many interesting capital and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified finance professional and able to demonstrate:

Proven experience in a leadership role; and the personal skills required to develop and lead an effective and well-motivated, multi-disciplinary team;
Strong track record in leading and developing finance strategies plans and budgets;
Delivery of customer service excellence and a high degree of awareness of the needs of staff in terms of finance support and information;
