RG Consultancy are proud to be working with a fantastic manufacturing business based in Crewe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an all-around Accounts Assistant who would like to progress within a business. The role has come around due to company growth. You will join a small finance team and support the Finance Manager across the department. In return, support will be given across all areas to support personal development and growth. This role would suit an AAT studier or equally someone more experienced who would like to be involved within in the wider business.

The Role
  • Purchase Ledger, processing invoices, purchase orders and payments
  • Payment runs, bank reconciliations
  • Sales Ledger, producing invoices, setting up new clients/customers
  • Credit Control, chasing supplier payments, recovering aged debt
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with audit preparations
  • Assisting with month end processes
  • Assisting with payroll where needed
  • Handling internal and external queries
  • Managing the accounts inbox
  • Other administrative tasks where the department will need the support

The Person
  • At least 2 years+ experience within an all-around accounts admin role
  • Experience with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control
  • Applicants studying or AAT qualified would both be considered
  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage but not essential
