RG Consultancy are working with a well-established logisitcs company based in the Rochdale area who are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk. You will join an SME within a small finance team and report back to the Finance Manager in their head office.

The Role
  • Managing the Purchase ledger function in the accounts department
  • Handling and processing purchase invoices
  • Coding and posting all invoices and credit notes
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Able to identify issues/discrepancies and ensure resolved efficiently
  • Managing the accounts inbox and other administrative duties to assist the Finance Manager

The Person
  • At least 2 years' experience within a purchase ledger or accounts assistant role
  • Experience with SAGE 50 and Excel
  • Experienced with XERO or Quickbooks would also be an advantage
  • AAT qualified or working towards would be an advantage but not essential
