Role Description
Pricing Analyst (Risk Pricing)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pricing Analyst in our Risk Pricing team. You will develop risk models to accurately price business and produce analysis to understand the impact of price changes, from both a business and customer perspective.

Key Responsibilities
• Development and enhancement of our pricing models
• Produce and present analysis to identify the impact of pricing changes
• Evaluate new tools and techniques to develop our pricing capability
• Contribute to the development of pricing structures and strategies to achieve growth and profitability objectives
• Ensure technical components meet Allianz Group Technical Excellence standards and enable our Pricing capabilities to become 'certified'
• Share and promote knowledge, skills and best working practices within the team

Pricing plays a key role in delivering the Commercial Strategy. You will be required to apply your technical modelling skills to ensure we have an accurate understanding of ultimate cost and the risk factors driving it. You'll also be at the sharp end of our business, delivering analysis that is used to drive commercial decisions, solving challenging problems, and delivering enhancements to our products and pricing techniques.

You will work with a range of teams across the company including Data, Portfolio Management and Underwriting to implement new pricing models to support business and customer needs.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you should have:
• A minimum of 12 months general insurance pricing experience
• Experience of using Emblem and/or other pricing software
• Data and analytical skills to work with large volumes of complex data
• Experience using data analysis tools such as SAS, Python, R, SQL, Excel, VBA
• Ability to communicate findings to colleagues and wider stakeholders
• Strong problem solving skills
• A high degree of numerical ability
