We have an exciting temp to perm opportunity for a Bookkeeper with construction industry experience to join our client’s team in Faversham. This role is ideal for a Bookkeeper who is ready to start immediately, with a maximum of one week’s notice. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements. Day-to-day of the role:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Processing sales ledger and purchase invoices.
- Preparing and processing company payment runs.
- Conducting bank reconciliations.
- Handling month-end reporting.
- Managing VAT and all statutory compliance.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within the construction industry.
- Ability to start with a maximum of one week’s notice.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of VAT and statutory compliance.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
