I have a new 3-6 month interim assignment working for a great organization with a lovely, friendly and committed team - the Finance Director is looking for an interim Finance Business Partner to join the team to cover a gap where one FBP goes on maternity leave, and another one returns from maternity leave.
There is an interim Financial Controller above you in the structure who reports to the Finance Director, but you will report straight into the Finance Director, which will give you some invaluable experience at a senior level.
They use SAP as a system, so if you have experience of this, that would be great but it is not essential.
Hybrid working arrangements are in place, which will mean 3 days a week on site.
Whilst there are junior members of staff under you, there is no direct staff management - this is a stand alone role providing a business partnering approach, helping to resolve issues, responding to questions, enhancing financial awareness and improving finance processes.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the day to day recognition and processing of all financial transactions on the finance system (SAP) ensuring that these transactions are processed in a timely manner and are compliant with all policies, processes.
A Government or not for profit background is preferred but again, is not essential - being a fantastic finance business partner with great communication skills is!
