RG Consultancy are working with an excellent, medium sized turnover business based in Blackburn who are looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be joining a team of 5 within the finance department, reporting into the financial controller within the business.

Duties will include:
  • Full end to end purchase ledger (processing invoices, coding and matching invoices)
  • Post payments and cash allocations on the purchase ledger
  • Propose purchase ledger payment runs and agree schedule of payment
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Run full month - end procedure on purchase ledgers
  • Maintain accurate manual and computerised records as appropriate
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and accurately maintain existing account detail
  • Reconcile and chase up missing invoices
  • General office/accounts administration
