Are you a looking for a local role for a business that offer flexibility and work life balance?

We have an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join an established and professional organisation within a 6-month maternity contract with an opportunity to extend in the future.

This is a hybrid role where you will be in the office at least 2 days per a week and working from home for the rest of the week.

This role will suit a candidate who has experience within a similar role, any experience within Financial Services would be beneficial but not essential.

Key responsibilities for the Credit Controller 6 Month Maternity Contract role:
  • To drive down outstanding historical debt whilst ensuring current levels remain within SLAs
  • Identification, reconciliation, and clearance of unallocated cash amounts
  • To contact individuals or business customers to resolve outstanding payments and reduce outstanding historical debt
  • Ensure the administration of credit control correspondence and following up with telephone calls where required
  • Processing payments of outstanding monies
  • Updating policies with new direct debit mandates
  • Produce detailed MI and issue daily, weekly, monthly and YTD
  • To actively build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and forge a strong working relationship with the Finance department

For this Credit Controller 6 Month Maternity Contractthe employer is looking for:
  • Proven experience of credit control and debtor management
  • Demonstrable experience in reconciling bank accounts
  • Competent customer service skills driving service excellence
  • Excellent level of numeracy, with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • Expert organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Competent negotiation skills
  • Competent in all Microsoft office packages particularly Excel
