JLL Work Dynamics - Transaction Manager - Disposals Lead - Senior Surveyor/Associate Director

Role & Responsibilities

Transactions Delivery:
  • Responsible for the disposal of the vacant retail estate across the UK for a large financial services client
  • Manage end to end delivery of all retail disposals in the UK
  • Manage legal process through to completion
  • Working with JLL agents across the region and best in class partners ensuring consistency in service delivery to the client
  • Market the vacant estate via a network of agents
  • Present transactions for client approval
  • Regular and ad hoc reporting both internally and to Barclays' stakeholders
  • Ensure all governance is in place at each stage of the transaction
  • Prepare timely business case approval documents
  • Manage brokers, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure a consistently high standard of service
  • Manage requests for and delivery of all DD required for disposals
  • Update transaction information in workflow management tool (Client Hub)

Reporting/Processes
  • Update weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports
  • Fee approvals and billing - oversee the billing for acquisitions
  • Regular dialogue with other workstream leads to ensure a collective approach to service delivery
  • Oversight and accountability for performance and completion of delivery targets

Portfolio Review / Critical Dates
  • Strategy - provide input and expertise to strategy forums and workshops as required
  • Identify portfolio optimisation opportunities and management of critical dates
  • Work closely with Barclays' stakeholders and Global Strategy Team to ensure implementation of agreed real estate acquisition strategies

NB: responsibilities include managing real estate services by non-JLL suppliers where appointed.
