We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients finance department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in accounts payable processes. Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and verify appropriate approvals.
  • Perform reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any invoice or payment discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Clerk
  • Accounting or similar degree preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in accounts payable or related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
