Red Recruitment 24/7 are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Lincoln area as they look to add an Accounts Assistant into their finance team on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties:

Purchase Ledger including uploading invoices onto the system and generating payment runs

Validate and authorise purchase orders

Assist in day-to-day financial tasks, including data entry

Support other areas of the finance function as required

Processing and posting invoices onto the purchase ledger system

Ensuring all invoices are authorised before payment is made

Processing payment runs in line with agreed terms

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring the purchase ledger system is up to date

Experience:

Experience within Purchase Ledger would be a huge advantage

Experience with Sage is desirable but training can be provided

Good attention to detail and accuracy essential

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

A team player that is actively seeking a career in an accounts role
