Role: Finance and Administration Assistant

Salary £26k to £28k dependant on experience

We are currently recruiting for a finance and administration assistant to support our contract at P&O. Hybrid working with all training to be carried out in Heathrow terminal 5.
Approving manual invoices
Raising any discrepancies to suppliers within 24 hours
Monitoring the P&O finance inbox
Reconciling stock for BXS and P&O and resolving any discrepancies across 2 different systems
Setting up new suppliers with supply chain
Closing weekly accounts (consists of approving invoices and inputting stock - no accruals, prepayments or sales data required)
Producing P&O reports for finance manager and also for the client on a monthly basis
Building reports in ‘Report Builder’ system
Ability to work across multiple different systems
A lively, outgoing personality
Experience of operating in a multi-site retail/food services business an advantage
A motivated, self-starter individual with an enquiring and pro-active approach to work
Good written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments.
Good computer skills - MS Word, Office, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
Proficient in Excel
