An opportunity has arisen for a Global Finance Business Partner in the Life Sciences Business division to support the Business Finance Director for Life Sciences in providing financial analysis and insight to the global Business management team and working closely with all functions, primarily based at our International Headquarters in Cowick, Yorkshire UK.

This is a key role and the individual will be expected to work closely with the management teams in Pharma, Crop and Seed and take the lead providing on providing high quality, insightful analysis and financial support across the Life Sciences business globally.

There will be some opportunity for Global travel within this role.

Essentials:
  • You will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint in particular
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You will have the ability to work within a team and work closely with other management teams
  • Leadership skills, confident
  • You will have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems
  • You will have a strong commercial acumen, able to present technical financial information to non-finance professionals
  • You will have a persuasive manner: be comfortable dealing with all levels of the organisation
  • You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Desirables:
  • SAP ERP and BI, Qlikview or similar experience
  • Relevant Accounting qualifications ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA,CIMA or local equivalent )
  • Previous finance business partner or commercial finance experience, finance information to non-finance professionals
