Sheridan Maine is delighted to be representing our prestigious client, an award-winning B Corp organisation located in Bristol. Our client is on a mission to drive positive social and environmental change, and they are seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:
As a Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Finance Director to optimise and implement financial and resource planning and analysis across the business. You will be responsible for ensuring that the financial strategies align with the organisation's mission and objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who is not only commercially minded but also passionate about sustainability.

Your responsibilities as the Finance Analyst will include but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure effective financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against key metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvement in financial processes.
  • Work closely with various teams to gather financial data and insights.
  • Support other team members in proper Forecast use. Onboard new hires to the system and act as the Forecast helpdesk for the team.
  • Prepare financial reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Support the monthly invoicing and month end close processes.

To be considered for the position of Finance Analyst, you will require:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial planning and analysis.
  • First-rate communicator with the ability to build relationships with colleagues quickly and deal with all levels, from leadership team to junior team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
