The Internal Auditor will ensure that ISH’s operations are conducted according to the highest standards by providing an independent, objective assurance function by advising on best practices. Through a systematic and disciplined approach, the Internal Auditor will support ISH to accomplish its objectives by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.Independence/Objectivity & Time commitment
To ensure independence. The Internal Auditor is ultimately responsible to the Chair of the F&AC. However, the successful applicant will allow the Senior Management Team (SMT) of ISH to comment on any internal audit reports before they are presented to the F&AC.
F&AC meets four times per year - February, May, August and November, this is when the Internal Auditor will present their findings to the committee. This role will be required to work approximately 30 days per annum. Further time commitment may be required on an ad hoc basis.Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Internal Auditor at International Students House located in London, with some work from home allowed. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial audits and preparing audit reports.Qualifications
- Audit Reports and Financial Audits skills
- Analytical Skills and Finance expertise
- Excellent Communication skills
- Experience working in a similarly related field
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as CISA or CRMA preferred
£20-25.00 per hour
