What will this role achieve?
This role is part of the Customer Finance team that drives the rituals and routines necessary to understand performance, deliver insightful and useful financial analysis, provide rigorous financial control and evaluation processes to support the Customer team with customer investment decisions.
pladis UK & Ireland region has ambitious plans, Customer Finance act as a hardworking and honest business partner to help the business build robust external relationships and improve internal value creation. Their aim is to ensure the Customer teams develop a better understanding of both consumer and trade dynamics to build more effective strategies.
The successful role holder will join a vibrant, passionate finance team and learn about working in a commercial environment. This is a great opportunity to develop an understanding of Commercial Finance and Support Customer Finance Managers in their day-to-day tasks.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Manage and support Terms Control and Pricing Investment with tracking of delivery and P&L management
- Work with Customer teams to drive better understanding of drivers of performance. Use of our reporting system to understand the factors impacting internal and external performance
- Take ownership of modelling Joint Business Plans for the smaller accounts and identify opportunities of savings and efficiencies.
- Pursuing an Accounting & Finance or similar related qualification
- Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Fluent in English
- Ambition to move into a Finance role in the future
- An analytical and curious mind to enable investigation of variances.
